Framing can be just a utilitarian necessity to display your art, but it can also be an integral part of your art and enhance your vision. In this class we’ll talk about how to create framing that fit your specific use. In the first week, we’ll cut and assemble traditional wood frames, I’ll demonstrate the minimum tools you need to do the job, finish options, and also some alternative options you might want to consider. In the second week, we’ll discuss mounting options, how to cut mats, and dry mounting. An additional $10 supply fee is payable to the instructor on the day of class, cash preferred.
In Person Session begins September 30 and runs Saturdays from 10:30am-12 noon for 3 weeks, $90 + supply fee. Minimum of 3 students, maximum of 8. Enroll by September 16, 2023. Our classes require a minimum number of students in order to run. If that minimum has not been met one week before the scheduled start of the class, the class will be cancelled. So please register early to avoid disappointment!
