Ever think your trash or junk could be treasure to wear?  In this class, you will learn how to take items that are discarded, used for other purposes, or leftover from other places or projects to make an interesting necklace that will sure to be a conversation piece.  Utilizing personal and interesting bits and objects from your house, we will focus on how to look at them in a way to create something unique, wearable, and even create a story.  We will discuss how to display items in an aesthetically pleasing way and how to combine objects and realize them into a piece of jewelry.  Students will learn how to wire wrap, understand basic color theory, balance and proportion, combine materials, and utilize jewelry tools.  Beginners welcome!
