Course Overview:

In Monet’s Garden: Creativity Class Inspired by Monet’s Paintings

In this class, young students will “follow” Fairies while exploring Manet’s paintings. We will concentrate on works depicting Manet’s garden including 2 paintings of Water Lilies. Children will learn a few facts about Claude Monet, listen to a story, and discuss some of his paintings. Students will learn (or review) what artists do and what kind of painting is called “landscape”.

In a second portion of the class, we will make a craft inspired by the artworks presented in a first portion of the class.

Minimum of 4 students need for this class to run, please register by October 18th.

In Person Session  Tuesday, October 26  from 10-11am. $20 (member), $25 (non-member).
