Class Overview:
Please enroll by September 27, 2023
Have you ever taken a photo you really liked but you don’t know how it happened? In this class we’ll unravel the mystery of what makes a good photograph. We’ll be examining the basics of exposure, lighting, and composition, learning how to get the most out of our cameras, and (just as importantly) ourselves as photographers.
Four relevant topics in four weeks; composition, shooting action, portraits, and mobile photography.
We’ll talk about what all those confusing buttons and settings mean and when to use them, but we’ll also discuss camera techniques and tricks that work no matter what camera you use. Every week we’ll have an opportunity to try our new techniques in class and with a take home assignment that encourages creativity.
Supplies needed: Students will need to have a camera with manual settings for ISO, shutter speed and aperture.
In Person Session Class starts October 11 and runs Wednesdays from 6:30-8pm, runs for 4 weeks. $120. Minimum of 3 students, maximum of 8. Enroll by September 27, 2023.
