During this 3 class series, we will spend the first half of each day will be building an item out of clay; coaster, plate, cup with Kristen Von Hohen. The second half will be mono-printing with Nancy Diaz-Metz @hummingbird9studios. Participants will learn how to transfer their hand-drawn images onto leather hard clay pieces made during ceramics class using a process called, mono-printing. This technique utilizes colored slip and underglazes to transfer drawings onto clay. All materials and kiln firings included.
In Person Session begins May 10. Class runs Wednesdays from 6:30-8:30pm for 3 weeks. $100. Minimum of 4 students, maximum of 8. Enroll by May 2, 2023. Our classes require a minimum number of students in order to run. If that minimum has not been met one week before the scheduled start of the class, the class will be cancelled. So please register early to avoid disappointment!
