Class Overview:

Please enroll by June 21, 2024

Each person will get a bucket and will be able to collect and process their own clay from the Schuylkill River. Each person will be expected to collect trash with their empty bucket while the clay is being processed after the initial demo. Students need to bring a pointed shovel, and it suggested to wear dirty clothes and waterproof shoes (rain boots, hiking sandals, old shoes with no socks, change of shoes for after recommended) and a pair of work gloves.

The clay in this area can normally be fired up to cone 10, but a test fire with a finger of clay is recommended beforehand.

We will meet at Riverfront park at 11am, to harvest our material and do a park clean up. We will then return to ArtFusion 19464 to process the clay.

In Person Session Class is Saturday June 29 from 11am-1pm. $40. Minimum of 4 students, maximum of 8. Enroll by June 21, 2024. Our classes require a minimum number of students in order to run. If that minimum has not been met one week before the scheduled start of the class, the class will be cancelled. So please register early to avoid disappointment!
