Class Overview:

Cancelled due to low enrollment

All the ways you can create with a needle and thread! In this class we will explore both hand and machine sewing, learning how to sew for function, fun and aesthetics. No experience–or sewing machine–required. (If you have your own machine, you are welcome to bring it. Otherwise we will have one for you to use.)

You will learn how to sew seams on a machine, making a useful tote bag and a fun fleece hat. Next we’ll explore basic embroidery stitches, to create a frameable, embroidered version of your favorite quote. And finally we will learn how to mend clothes, both traditional fixes (like how to sew a button) and visible mending (turning a hole into a design feature). All supplies included.

In Person Session begins October 13. Class runs Tuesdays from 7-9pm for 6 weeks. $215. Minimum of 4 students, maximum of 6. Enroll by October 2, 2026. Our classes require a minimum number of students in order to run. If that minimum has not been met one week before the scheduled start of the class, the class will be cancelled. So please register early to avoid disappointment!
