Class Overview:
This class is running, still 2 spaces to join in!
This class will focus on throwing on the wheel. Students will be honing their centering skills, producing basic shapes (cylinders, bowls), and reclaiming your clay. We will then work on hand altering, trimming and surface decoration, and finally glazing our pieces. Please bring reference photos of any specific project ideas. Cost includes 25 lb clay, 1 bisque firing and 1 glaze firing, and all glazes. You can buy more clay at $50 per bag, this price included the glazes and firings of the clay.
Each student will have their own wheel for the entire time. This limited class size also gives you more personal attention from the instructor.
Prerequisite: must have prior clay experience via other courses at ArtFusion 19464 or equivalent experience elsewhere with instructor/director approval.
In Person Session Class starts October 1 and runs Thursdays from 7-9pm for 8 weeks. $300. Minimum of 4 students, maximum of 5 students. Enroll by September 23, 2026. Our classes require a minimum number of students in order to run. If that minimum has not been met one week before the scheduled start of the class, the class will be cancelled. So please register early to avoid disappointment!
