Advanced Form Wheel Throwing (age 18+) with Nikki Foreman Sept. 30

This class will focus on throwing more advanced forms on the wheel.  Students will be able to choose their project(s) based on their own interests.  Some potential ideas include: double walled vessels, closed forms, altered forms, chip/dip plates, lidded jars, long-necked vases, and donuts.  Please bring reference photos of anything specific not listed above.

Weeks 1-4 will be for making, trimming, altering and surface decoration. There will be a 3 week break for pieces to dry and fire, with final day of glazing. Cost includes clay, 1 bisque firing and 1 glaze firing, and all glazes.

Due to limited wheels, this class will only have 3 students, with each student having their own wheel during the whole class. This limited class size also gives you more personal attention from the instructor.

Prerequisite: must have prior clay experience via other courses at ArtFusion, or with instructor/director approval.

In Person Session Runs Saturdays from 1-4pm on September 30, October  7,14, and 21. We will return to glaze on November 18. $300. Minimum of 3 students, maximum of 3 students. Enroll by September 16, 2023. Our classes require a minimum number of students in order to run. If that minimum has not been met one week before the scheduled start of the class, the class will be cancelled. So please register early to avoid disappointment!
