March 23-April 27, 2019
Field trips generously sponsored by SEI Cares
Renew, our 2019 educational art exhibit, will focus on work created from recycled, upcycled and salvaged materials. As part of this exhibit, we are are offering free field trips to local schools. Each field trip for Renew lasts 2 hours and consists of an interactive discussion on the environment and creative reuse in art. Students then participate in a scavenger hunt, with the answers being found in the artwork in the exhibit. Finally the students will participate in a fun recycled art activity. All field trips are tailored to be age-appropriate for the students who are visiting.
Thanks to a generous grant from the SEI Cares foundation, we are able to offer free bus transportation to a limited number of trips. Each field trip includes one standard school bus. (If you have students with mobility issues who need different transportation, please specify when applying and we will do our best to accommodate these needs.)
Field trips are offered in the morning on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays throughout the show. (If those days and times will not work, please contact us. We will do our best to accommodate you, but please be aware we are very limited outside of the posted field trip times.) Please see below for the current available time slots. Groups are welcome to bring a lunch and eat in our facility after the field trip is finished. Due to the way this field trip is organized as well as available space in our facility, we can only accommodate a maximum of 50 students per field trip.
