Third Annual Soup Bowl Fundraiser

Don’t miss this popular event! Our third annual fundraiser will be even bigger and better than last year. We will be expanding to 2 floors this year. Different soups will be set up on our first floor and also upstairs on our second floor. With this expansion, we can accommodate a lot more soup lovers!

Lunch and live entertainment!

We are proud to announce that local singer Bill Collins will be performing during this year’s Soup Bowl. This fundraiser is sure to be a feast for all of your senses!

This event was a sell-out in 2013. 2014 tickets are available for purchase at our 254 E. High St. facility, or you can buy your tickets online here.

Guests will be able to try an amazing variety of home-cooked soups, created by our volunteer chefs. Lunch will also include bread, beverages and homemade desserts. As a thank you for supporting our fundraiser, each guest will also take home a handcrafted ceramic bowl, which were created by volunteers from our community throughout the previous year.

Each bowl is an artistic collaboration:  one volunteer created the bowl from clay and another added the colorful decorations. We had girl scout troops, high school students, volunteers from local businesses, members of the Big Brothers/Big Sisters program and more work on our bowls this year. This event is truly a community effort, from the soups to the bowls.

Soup varieties so far: Chicken Corn, Cheddar Broccoli, Spinach Tortellini, Beef Stew, Black Bean, Zuppa Tuscana, Potato Leek, Rivel, Vegetarian Potato and Fresh Herb, Vegetarian Butternut Squash, Tomato Bisque, Escarole, Buffalo Turkey, Chicken Noodle and Vegetarian Carrot Ginger.

We are looking for volunteer chefs to create their signature soups for our fundraiser. Interested cooks should contact us via email or give us a call at 610-326-2506.

Participating local restaurants so far include West End Alley, Montesano Bros., Grumpy’s, and St. Peter’s Bakery.

PLEASE NOTE: Our facility will only be open on 1/25 for the fundraiser from 11am-1pm. There will be no classes held that day.
