ArtFusion offers free and reduced tuition scholarships for our regularly scheduled classes, depending on funding availability. To apply for a general scholarship, please click here to download an application. We also have scholarships available through our Healing Arts program. Please see below for details and availability.
We also offer several free programs throughout the year. Programs are for a specific class topic and are usually open to a particular student population, such as children ages 8-12, military veterans, etc. Programs are often funded by local businesses or organizations. If your business would be interested in sponsoring one of our programs, please call 610-326-2506 or email us for more information.
See below for our current programs. Please note that students may apply for and attend only one free program per session.
Healing Arts Program
Our Healing Arts program is designed to give military veterans and those whose lives have been touched by cancer an chance to experience the healing power of the arts. The program offers general scholarships, when funds are available, as well as specific programs that are funded by local businesses and organizations. If you are interested in sponsoring a program, or donating towards our general Healing Arts scholarship fund, please contact Executive Director Erika Hornburg-Cooper.
Thanks to a generous donation from the SEI Cares, we currently have 10 general scholarships available for veterans, and those whose lives have been touched by cancer (cancer patients, survivors, caregivers and family members). These scholarships can be used to take any class in our current schedule. Please click here to see all of our current classes. Click here for an application.
Programs for Kids
Sponsored by The Greater Pottstown Foundation, these fun free classes offer students a chance to explore their creativity. For kids ages 8-12, Art Academy is a general arts exploration class where students work with many different mediums, and Clay Academy teaches students how to create with clay. Both programs begin March 2, 2018. Classes run Fridays from 4:30-6pm for 8 weeks. Applications are due by February 16, 2018. Click here for an application.
Please note: Spaces will be filled on a first come, first served basis. We encourage everyone who is interested to apply. However those students who qualify for free or reduced lunch and those who have not attended a free program with us before will be given priority. We will accept applications until our deadline and then make a determination of who has been accepted into our programs.
Programs for Teens
Teens can choose from two programs sponsored by The Greater Pottstown Foundation. In Teen Clay Studio, students will learn how to work on the wheel and hand build with clay, working with the instructor to design and complete individual and cooperative projects. Teen Mixed Media Studio lets students explore many different mediums, learning from a talented roster of instructors. Teen Clay begins March 8 and Teen Mixed Media begins March 1. Applications for all programs are due by February 16, 2018. Please click here for an application and for complete details on the programs.
