Ages 8-11 Free Program Application

Please fill out this form to apply for our free programs for ages 8-11. These programs are made possible by a generous grant from the Greater Pottstown Foundation. See choices below:

  • Clay Academy for kids 8-11. Begins 9/29 and runs 5-6:30pm each week for 8 weeks.
  • 2D Art Academy for kids 8-11. Begins 9/30 runs 5-6:30pm each week for 8 weeks..
  • 3D Art Academy for kids 8-11. Begins 10/1 runs 5-6:30pm each week for 8 weeks.

Notifications
  • There are a limited number of spaces available. All applications must be received by September 12, 2026. We will accept applications until the due date and then make a determination of who has been approved.
  • You will be notified AFTER the application deadline if your child has been accepted. We will use the email address you input to contact you about your application. Please be sure to check your account regularly.
Important Information
  • Classes are held at 341 Beech St in downtown Pottstown. Transportation is not provided.
  • While the program is free, each participant is required to pay a $10 registration fee. The registration fee is non-refundable. (If this fee is a financial hardship, please contact us.)
  • While preference will be given to students who qualify for free or reduced lunch, all students are encouraged to apply. Students who have already attended an Academy class before may apply, but preference will be given to those students who are new to the program.
  • If after determining who is new to the program and who applied first, there are still more applicants than available spaces, the short paragraphs written by the student and by the parent will be used to determine who will be accepted into the program. . Application submission date will be used as a deciding factor between qualifying students (earlier dates will be given preference).
  • We require a separate application form for each student who is applying.
  • Every applicant must write about why they want to participate in their program. The applicant’s parent or guardian is also required to write why they think their child should be considered for this program.
  • It is very important that the student write their section themselves. Please have them write on a separate piece of paper, take a picture and upload at the correct part of our form. Applications that are not written by the student will not be accepted.
Program Restrictions
  • Students may not apply for and attend more than one free ArtFusion program during a session.
  • Attendance in this program is also important. Students who miss more than two days of class will not be eligible to participate in any free programs at ArtFusion 19464 for one calendar year. Students who are accepted into a class but do not come to any classes at all will not be eligible to participate in any free programs at ArtFusion 19464 for two calendar years.
