Megan Bealer is a writer, artist, and crafter from Pottstown, PA. She received her A.A. in Liberal Studies from Montgomery County Community College and her B.A. in Liberal Studies with a concentration in English from Chestnut Hill College.
While her strongest disciplines are acrylic and mixed media, Megan has explored a variety of media and styles including watercolor, charcoal, film photography, and various forms of crafting. Megan’s work has a foundation in realism with elements of impressionistic, surrealistic, and expressionistic styles. Unconventional color techniques are often used to produce strong emotional responses. In her work, the dark experiences of the human condition are often juxtaposed with the sense of renewal and wonder found in the natural world– or one subject infused with aspects of the other.
