Roger Harris, Artist

After courses in figure drawing , acrylics and sketching and with the invaluable encouragement of the instructors here, I’m very pleased to join the family of artist members at Artfusion 19464. I hope that my contributions reflect some of the great love, humor and imagination offered here.

Raised in Connecticut, I spent twenty years as a traveling musician. Often living in hotels, when I didn’t have a musical instrument in my hands I was experimenting with watercolor pencils, crayons and charcoal.

Leaving the road to live in PA with my wife Cynthia in the late 80’s I spent a short period designing music and graphics for computer games, then joined the “working world” writing manufacturing support software while continuing to play pop and jazz guitar locally.

Now retired from nine-to-five work, I’ve found a renewed interest in acrylics, often on found wood scraps or stone. I also enjoy pencil, watercolor and inks.
