That same year she started taking additional art classes at the Philadelphia College of Art. She received her Associates degree in General Studies. She continued her art studies at the Anvil Studio with Jon Smith and Mary Ellen Christ. Susan also works with textiles – creating pocketbooks, vests, dolls and clothing. She has participated in many shows with her watercolors, oils and pastels.
She is currently taking painting commissions.
