Erika Hornburg-CooperErika has been working in various mediums since attending high school in Greenwich Village. She has attended classes at Hofstra University, Lehman College, Ulster Community College and has taken classes at West Chester Art Association and the Anvil Studio. She has been teaching art classes at Brookeside Montessori for over 11 years, and at Creative Health for the past 6 years.

Erika started ArtFusion 19464 (formerly the Gallery School of Pottstown/Gallery on High) in 2004 when the opportunity to partner with 2 other women at 254 E High Street. She focused on building an educational facility focusing on the arts – with more attention being placed on recognizing the student and the vision they create.

Erika was presented with Exceptional Woman in the Arts award from the YWCA and was also recognized as Person of the Year from the Pottstown Rotary.

Her instruction is built around building confidences and vision with her students. She enjoys creating impressionist style works in oils and pastels. Her style mostly references the rural areas in Northern Germany where her family originated from. Erika teaches Creative Kids, Teen Studio, and Art Academy.

Erika has raised four children in the Pottstown area and has two amazing grandchildren!
